Another little butterfly: Tropical Checkered Skipper

We finally got some long-promised rain.

A couple of hummingbirds found the feeder a day after I put it out.

And here's a new butterfly for my photo collection. Life is good.
Tropical Checkered Skipper is about an inch across.
Three or four of these little beauties were flitting low to the ground in a sunny patch of what most would call weeds.

In the United States, the Tropical Checkered Skippers are found along the Gulf edge.
